Characteristic of the Department

The Department of Pathobiological Science and Technology provides application-focused programs based on fundamental knowledge of medical sciences and medical care. Students have the opportunity to take a training program in the final year of their undergraduate course to gain practical experience at the University Hospital and other medical institutes in the region. Our staff are specialized in various research areas and supervise relevant research projects, such as basic research in pathology and microbiology, and applied medical research related to physiological information, clinical chemistry, haematology and immunology. From 2004, we have offered a highly specialized postgraduate courses (Master’s program) .
