Education:

Our educational programs provide students with a broad perspective on brain science, including neural cell biology, anatomy and physiology of neural circuitry, neural mechanisms underlying sensory and motor function, the neural basis of higher-order brain functions such as memory, and brain-related disorders.

Research Themes

Our research aims to clarify the mechanisms underlying the development of the brain in an effort to restore brain function after damage, in developmental disorders and psychiatric disorders. Specifically, we explore how the developmental experience influences neural circuitry in the visual and prefrontal cortices.
